Privacy & Removal Requests

Effective: May 26, 2026

rosint.dev has no backend, no accounts, and does not store your searches.

On this site we use:

When you search: your browser sends the query directly to Arctic Shift and PullPush. These requests do not pass through our server. Arctic Shift does not publish a privacy policy. By searching, you accept that.

Removals: email rosint-removal@proton.me with your username. I can restrict an account from being searched, but I cannot remove individual posts or comments, and I am not legally obligated to remove anything. It is recommended to remove data from the source. For data removal at the source, contact the services directly: PullPush and ArcticShift.

Updates n Stuff
Search a user's history by keyword
8/12/2026
A new "filter keywords" bar sits above the results. Type a word or phrase and press enter (or Apply) to only show posts and comments containing it. It searches post titles, post bodies, and comment text across both archives.
Filters are now available after searching
8/12/2026
A "Filters" option on the results page lets you narrow a search without starting over: pick a date range from the calendar, limit results to one subreddit, or use the new "Deleted only" and "NSFW only" toggles. The same options are under "Advanced filters" on the home page.
The search bar no longer zooms in on phones
8/12/2026
Tapping the search bar (or any filter input) on iOS used to zoom the whole page in. Input text is now sized so the page stays put.
Accounts removed via removal requests now have a fake loading animation and display no results
8/4/2026
Searching an account that had been removed used to show a notice saying so, which told anyone searching that the account holder had asked to be removed. That is information about them in itself.
Those searches now behave like any other search that finds nothing, and the "no results" message lists a removal request as one of the possible reasons for every account, not just removed ones.
Comments can be collapsed again
8/4/2026
"Show comments" on a post now becomes "hide comments" once they are open, and clicking it again collapses them. Re-opening is instant, since the comments are kept rather than fetched a second time.
Clicking a post now opens its body
7/18/2026
Clicking a post now expands its full body right in place instead of leaving the site. A separate "open in reddit" button was added for viewing it on Reddit.
Faster, more reliable hosting
7/12/2026
Moved the site to new hosting infrastructure for faster load times and better uptime.
Hover a date to see the exact time
7/10/2026
Hovering the date on any post or comment now shows the exact date and time it was posted, in your local timezone.
Status badges on posts and comments
7/2/2026
Cards now flag whether content was removed by a moderator or deleted by its author, plus NSFW, spoiler, and admin/mod markers. Removed and deleted cards get a tinted border so they stand out when scanning results.
Clicking images opens them full-size
6/11/2026
Clicking a post thumbnail or comment image now opens the full-size image in a new tab.
Removal requests
5/29/2026
Removed names are stored as one-way hashes, so they never appear in the public source or the site itself.
Privacy policy added
5/26/2026
Published a privacy policy at the top of this page, covering analytics (Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics),
third-party API calls (Arctic Shift, PullPush), and user rights under PIPEDA, GDPR, and Quebec Law 25. Linked from the "Docs" chip in the header.
